Irth App Rewards Program
When you remove the ‘B’ from BIRTH, you get IRTH.
For us, that ‘B’ represents the bias too many mothers of color encounter throughout their pregnancy journeys.
Every birthing person deserves a 5-star experience.
When you leave a review and rating about your experience, you help drop the ‘B’ and drive positive change.
Together, let’s make birth without bias a reality.
➷ Freelance UX Design contractor working directly with the Irth team (founder, PM, devs, and another design contractor) to create and implement a rewards program.
The Irth ambassadors program targets doulas who apply to be a part of a targeted rewards program, becoming Irth Ambassadors (IAs).
My role on this project was to define and design the user experience of the IA program, from filling out an application to cashing out on the rewards.
Background
Signing Up
Any doula who has completed their profile will have a prompt on the homepage to learn more about the ambassador program. By clicking this prompt, they’ll be able to get a brief description of the program as well as a button to sign up.
Approved IAs
As an approved IA, I want to have a specific crown, the Ambassador Crown, displayed on my profile
As an approved IA, I want to see the earning terms attached to my city (the amount I earn per review and threshold for withdrawal)
As an approved IA, I want to be able to share my crown level as an image
As an approved IA, I want to track my earning progress
As an approved IA, I want to be able to enter my PayPal details so that I can get access to my money
Incentive Structure
As an IA, I want to earn points for every review I submit
As an IA, I want to view my accumulated points within the app
As an IA, I want to earn points when users enter my referral code during their reviews
As an IA, I want to receive notifications when I've reached the minimum threshold of 10 points out of the target number of 20 within 60 days
More Contributions
-
If users are not in a location that supports paid incentives, they can sign up as volunteer ambassadors. That way, their contributions to the Irth community are still tracked.
-
With the search for reviews being the most popular feature of the app, the team decided to revamp the homepage so that the search was front and center. This work is still being developed.
-
The Irth app will soon allow for a guest view so that users don’t have to sign up to check out reviews. This will allow users to get a preview of the app experience and offerings before (hopefully) creating an account.
